Serranos Mexican Grill & Cantina: A Taste of Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Fayetteville

On paper, this place is really great. The food is good, service is good, prices are crazy cheap. I just can't come here anymore because three times in a row I have become sick to my stomach after eating here. I've been here five times in total, and four out of five times have resulted in stomach illness. I'm not just talking like, an upset stomach. I'm talking full-blown trapped in my house for two days in horrible pain. I just don't know how it's possible. I have had stomach illness only a couple times over the last several years, but then as soon as I started eating here regularly, it's like I'm constantly having stomach issues. I eat Mexican food quite regularly too, it's just this place in particular. Anyway, if you can eat here without getting sick, then it is a great place. I just simply cannot eat here anymore.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and it was impactful. The servers were awesome. The waiter was so helpful and kind. The kids absolutely loved their meals. We ALL got full and took home two to go trays. The atmosphere was subtle and welcoming. Super impressionable and we will be eating here again when we are all together once more.

We absolutely love Serrano’s! Without a doubt the best Mexican restaurant in Northwest Arkansas. My lady and I have had many dates here and we’ve celebrated a birthday or two here as well. The food and service has been excellent every time. We absolutely love the environment and the authentic dining experience at Serrano’s. We’ve also done many pickup and delivery orders and it’s just as good as the food you get when dining in. We have tried to venture out here and there to sample other Mexican restaurants but nothing seems to come close to Serrano’s for us. The Razorback Fajitas is our go to and it is our favorite restaurant dish to order in all of Northwest Arkansas. We do a double serving of it and it always gets us super full. The portions are great. There’s always tons of flavor. Even the chips and salsa they offer is top notch. Definitely get their guacamole to dip your chips in and trust us, you won’t regret it. We usually get their horchata and the Jamaican drink with our food and they’re also super good. Anything we’ve ordered from them has always tasted amazing but those items are our usuals. Thank you Serrano’s for being the best and keep up the great work!

Had a nice lunch, fair price for enchilada plate and a beer. Had a miscommunication with waitress regarding my order. I would have been fine eating it as-is but they wanted to make it right without asking, I was impressed. Food: sauces on enchiladas were quite tasty and freshly made. One of the better mole sauces I have had. Rice was very bland, beans were also bland, but more flavor than rice. Ground beef was just ok but had a nice fresh flavor. Chicken was good. Spinach (enchilada) was also fresh and tasty. Nicer and cleaner than the average local family Mexican restaurant. Would recommend and would return. Have returned several times, still 4 stars. They rush you to order and rush you out. Are you Russian? Stop rushing. It’s rude to customers who are paying for food and drinks and trying to unwind from their day. Seriously. Stop rushing customers. I would come here more often if not for this.

Food was wonderful. Salsa could of had more jalapeno in it. Dining room was clean but was to hot . Very nice place. Servers were well dressed and respectful. I was very happy with my meal. Music was a little to loud. Mexican rice had peas corn and carrots in it like Chinese fried rice, yuk ! Had to pick out the vegetables, I thought that was really weird. Update 4-3-25. Today was disappointing. Got the Taco Salad, the Menu should say " Barely there Taco Salad". There was barely anything in it and the meat had way to much spices. Music was way to loud and the waitress kept pestering me to death if I was ready to pay and leave, there was a mostly empty dining room not like people were waiting . This was a late lunch.

Mexican food heaven is here. Since being from Texas I was missing this food and finally I found one. Everything I have tried so far is super delicious. The employees here are superb and well trained. Good luck to everybody here

My boyfriend and I stayed in the hotel next door to Serranos. We decided to grab some dinner and I ordered the Steak Fajita Nachos and my boyfriend got their beef burrito's covered in cheese dip. Everything was delicious. Their sweet Ice tea did not disappoint either. Good food, good service and our bill was under $35.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was incredibly delicious — every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service was impressively quick without feeling rushed. It's rare to find a place that nails both taste and efficiency, but they’ve got it down! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.
